Privacy Policy

This policy applies to https://susamlabs.com and to the services Udyami Global Private Limited provides under the Susam Labs brand. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Udyami Global Private Limited; "you" means anyone visiting the site or contacting us.

We collect only what a specific purpose requires:

• When you contact us or book a call — your name, email address, company and whatever you write in the message or voice brief. We use it to reply, to scope the work you're asking about, and to keep a record of the enquiry. Calls booked through our scheduling provider also create a calendar entry with your email address.
• When you subscribe to the newsletter — your email address, used to send the newsletter and nothing else. Every message carries an unsubscribe link.
• When you message us on WhatsApp — your WhatsApp number and the contents of the conversation, used to answer you. WhatsApp is operated by Meta and handles that message under its own terms.
• When you simply read the site — standard server request data, and analytics on which pages are read. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not sell data to anyone, ever.

The savings calculator on our homepage runs entirely in your browser. The figures you enter are never transmitted to us or to anyone else.

Delivery work often means access to systems and data belonging to a client. That access is governed by the engagement contract, not by this policy, and in every case: access is the minimum needed to do the work, it is granted by the client and revocable by them at any time, and it ends at handover. Where we build systems that process personal data, we act as a processor on the client's instructions, and the client remains the controller.

We do not use client data to train models, and we do not reuse one client's data on another client's project.

We use a small number of service providers to run the site and the business — hosting and database infrastructure, email delivery, call scheduling, and AI providers used to process a voice brief into text. Each receives only what its function requires. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.

Some of these providers operate outside India. Where that happens we rely on the provider's contractual data-protection commitments.

Enquiries are kept while the conversation is live and for a reasonable period after, so we can pick up a thread you started months ago. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Records we are required to keep for tax or statutory reasons are kept for as long as that requirement runs. Ask us to delete something and we will, except where the law requires us to keep it.

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, and under the GDPR where it applies to you, you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to erase it, and withdraw consent you previously gave. You can also nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity.

Write to privacy@susamlabs.com and we will respond. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Access to systems is limited to people who need it, credentials are held in a secrets manager rather than in code or spreadsheets, and traffic to this site is encrypted in transit. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data we will notify you and the Data Protection Board as the Act requires.

This site and our services are intended for businesses and for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Where we run training for an institution whose participants include minors, that data is handled under the agreement with the institution, with verifiable parental consent obtained by them.

When this policy changes we update the date at the top. Material changes will be announced on this page rather than made quietly.
